Privacy Policy

The Almighty is a Discord bot for gaming communities. This page explains what it stores, why, who can see it, and how to delete it. In Discord you can also type -privacy for a short version.
What the bot stores
Only what features need, and only after you use them:

The bot does not store the contents of your messages, except the text of a reminder you set. Translations, captions, and images are processed and discarded.
Who can see it
- Server members can look up your linked Steam profile, library, wishlist, and game stats through bot commands, unless you run
-privacy steam private. - Moderation records are only visible to that server's staff.
- The bot's owner can access stored data to operate and maintain the bot.
Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
Outside services
- Steam (Valve) receives your SteamID to look up your games and profile. If you sign in with Steam to verify, that happens on Steam's own page; the bot never sees your password and only learns your SteamID.
- Roblox handles the sign-in when you link a Roblox account. The bot never sees your Roblox password, only asks for your basic profile, and gives the access back right after reading it.
- Groq and MyMemory receive the text of messages you ask the bot to translate. If a server turns on chat mode, Groq also receives messages sent to the bot there, plus a few recent messages for context.
- Open Trivia DB provides trivia questions; no personal data is sent.
- GamerPower is used for free game listings; no personal data is sent.
- Applications you fill out are posted to that server's staff channel; the bot doesn't keep a copy.
- This website keeps no accounts and no cookies. The message builder runs entirely in your browser.
Each service handles data under its own privacy policy.
Security
- Steam links, moderation records, weekly recap data, and reminders are encrypted at rest when the operator has enabled encryption.
- The bot's credentials are kept out of its code, in the host's environment settings.
How long data is kept
- Until you delete it, or
- 30 days after you leave every server the bot is in (cancelled if you rejoin one), or
- When a server's data is wiped by the bot owner.
Moderation records belong to each server and stay with it, so a person can't erase their own moderation history.
